This simple deck girder bridge once carried a spur line of the Illinois Central over the 7th Street Subway.
The bridge was built in 1919, and once had a wooden trestle approach. It is unknown when the approaches were removed.
Abandonment for the bridge came at an unknown date, likely around 1970.
Currently, all that remains is a small deck girder set onto concrete piers. The bridge sits near Kenyon Road.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
